Shane Longoria and The 171 are a modern country rock band based in Monroe, Louisiana, built around honest songs, driving guitars, and a four-piece live show.

The name comes from Highway 171, the road that runs through Shane’s hometown of DeRidder, Louisiana. It’s a road tied to home, family, and a lot of the places and people that continue to find their way into the band’s songs.

The 171’s music is country at its core with red dirt and rock underneath it. Their songs pull from relationships, hometowns, mistakes, faith, people they miss, and the things they’re still trying to figure out.

Made up of four friends who genuinely enjoy playing music together, The 171 brings that same chemistry to the stage. They take the songs seriously without taking themselves too seriously, building a live show around the songs, the band, and the people standing in front of them.
